Please forgive a landing page, but I know everyone has their favorite social media. I thought it might be easier for you if I just listed where I’m at on line. I’d love to connect!
Online, you can find me at:
The Sarcastic Muse Where we post about writing, writing careers, and the books we love.
Tumblr Curated writing information, tips, prompts, and fun stuff.
Pinterest Boards include The Writing Habit (on writing and the writing life), Things that Inspire Story, Writing Prompts, Creative Life, and Dream Writing Spaces. Of course, there are boards on my personal and art interests as well. 🙂
I have a novel coming out in the spring of 2014. We’re still tweaking titles, but I’ll post as soon as it’s set and include a blurb. I write YA/Crossover, contemporary and historical (past century and truly historical), romantic suspense, fantasy, and literary with supernatural twists. My characters are often struggling to define themselves or figure out their place in the world.
I write fast, edit slow, and never lack for ideas. In my “spare time,” I enjoy reading, quilting, pottery, glass fusion, house design, hanging out on line with my critique partners and the like-minded, talking about everything writing and creative. Coffee is a major obsession. Chocolate is slightly less major as long as it is available consistently. Toast is a staple.
I am an INFJ, so though I think and ponder deeply about things, as soon as I open my mouth or put fingers to keys, I’m convinced it comes out arrogant. To wit: this bio is the hardest writing I’ve done in a while. 🙂 I’m a pretty easy-going person, but I store up a lot of knowledge and share it when I can.
One day I’d like to teach a class for beginning and new writers just figuring out their process and to work with people experiencing creative log jams or blocks. Until then, I write my heart out and work on this beast they call an author’s platform.
